#127 ROOTS

I’m back home in Keene, Tx, visiting where I grew up.  My environment as a child was community-oriented with a multitude of love and sentimental memories, packaged with some difficult challenges.  

Walking along the street and sitting with former teachers, my life in hindsight has nourished me with gratitude for my experiences.  

I have attempted with my finest effort to replicate community and love for my children.  Their circumstances have been unalike however my conundrum is…  although I want them to have their ‘best’ life, I am fully aware that there is no progress without struggle.
