She was born into poverty.  Molested during her childhood and early teenage years.  Pregnant by 14 with a baby born prematurely; dying a few days after.

As her luck continued, she was demoted and then fired at the tender age of 22.

What a life. 

And at 67, if only she could undo the mistake she made her first day of school…  

Her real name is Orpah Winfrey, she misspelled it so the teacher thought her name was Oprah Winfrey.  It stuck.  Because the ‘good’ stuff always does.
